George Albion Morris, 81, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away August 8, 2024. He was born December 1, 1942 in Pemberville, Ohio to the late Edward and Phyllis (Smith) Morris. He married Carrie Low in 1963 and she survives in Bowling Green.
George worked at Modene Manufacturing for many years and owned & operated Poppin’ George’s Kettle Corn for the last 15 years, He enjoyed golfing and wood carving. He was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. His greatest joy was his family, especially his granddaughters. He loved attending all of their sporting events.
Along with his wife of 61 years, Carrie, George is survived by his son Kent (Diana) Morris of Lyons, Ohio, granddaughters Ava Morris and Scarlett Morris, brother Richard (Cindy) Morris of Pemberville, Ohio and sister Judy Lee of Pemberville, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Edward Morris Jr., Glen Morris, Catherine Hiser and Joann Holman.
Visitation will be held on Thursday August 15, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 W. Wooster St. His funeral service will be held on Friday August 16, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Plain Township Cemetery in Bowling Green.
