Meet Georgia, who is currently residing at the Wood County Dog Shelter. The 4-5-month-old Great Dane mix is looking for a new home.
According to Chief Dog Warden Jodi Harding, Georgia “is a complete sweetheart who loves everybody she meets – dog or people wise.”
She is getting spayed and fully vaccinated today (March 7).
The dog shelter has had a large influx of dogs in the past few days – receiving 13 dogs since last Friday (March 1). There are currently 14 dogs at the shelter looking for their owner to come forward, or a new forever home.
The Wood County Dog Shelter is located at 1912 E. Gypsy Lane Road, Bowling Green, phone 419-354-9242.
The adoption fee for all shelter dogs is $89, which includes a $14 Wood County dog license, and $75 vet voucher toward spay/neuter and vaccines if needed.
