Registration opens today (Friday, April 4) for the second annual BG 4×4 Fest, on Saturday, October 4, at the Wood County Fairgrounds. Participants can now sign up for featured events, including the Sled Pull, Convoy, Mud Pit, Park & Shine, and camping.
Last year’s inaugural BG 4×4 Fest drew nearly 2,000 attendees and participants. This free, family-friendly event offers excitement for 4×4 enthusiasts and spectators alike.
BG 4×4 Fest is a collaborative effort between Thayer Family Dealers, the Wood County Fairgrounds, VisitBG, and the National Tractor Pulling Championships. Proceeds benefit Local Drive, a local nonprofit that funds scholarships in agriculture and the trades for Wood County residents. Thanks to the 2024 event, five scholarships will be awarded this spring.
“We’re so proud to bring BG 4×4 Fest back for its second year,” said Rachael London of Thayer Family Dealerships. “The support we received last year was incredible. It showed us how much this community values fun, family, and coming together. We’re building on that momentum to create an even better experience this year — and the best part is, proceeds from the event help fund local scholarships. It’s all about giving back while making memories that last.”
This action-packed day features activities for all ages, including:
- A Convoy of 4x4s through downtown Bowling Green
- Sled Pull
- Mud Pit
- Park & Shine 4×4 display
- Food trucks
- Kids’ activities, including a kiddie pull
- Vendors Row
- And much more
Attendees can expect a full day of adrenaline-fueled fun and wholesome entertainment the whole family can enjoy.
