Bowling Green residents who received notice from Volunteer Energy Services that you were being refunded for natural gas costs – the refund is legitimate.
Volunteer Energy Services is the natural gas aggregation provider for those receiving service from Columbia Gas.
Volunteer Energy Gas Aggregation customers are receiving refund checks from Volunteer Energy Services Inc. due to a pass-through charge they added to participant bills when they had to pay higher prices in March 2021. It was determined by the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio this was to be reimbursed to the participants.
