A group called Grandparents Raising Grandchildren is being formed in Bowling Green by the Wood County Educational Service Center.
The group offers support, and is open to any grandparents raising grandchildren. Those attending will have the opportunity to meet other grandparent caregivers, develop a network of support, and receive information about services available.
The first meeting will be Tuesday, Nov. 30, from 6 to 7:30 p.m., at Crim Elementary School in Bowling Green. Free dinner and child care will be provided.
Participants are welcome to come to any or all of the group’s meetings. The tentative future meeting dates are Dec. 14, Jan. 11, Feb. 8, March 8, April 19 and May 10.
