Habitat for Humanity of Wood County is preparing for a dinner and fundraising event called “Hard Hats & High Heels Gala” to benefit the organization.
The event will be held Nov. 3, from 6 to 10 p.m., at Nazareth Hall, 21211 W. River Road, Grand Rapids.

A reception and silent auction will begin at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. Dessert and a program are scheduled for 8 p.m. The silent auction will end at 8:45 p.m., followed by a live auction at 9 p.m.
Tickets are $75 per person. A cash bar will be available.
