Bowling Green Fourth Ward Council Member William Herald will hold his 37th Fourth Ward quarterly meeting on March 27, at the Community Center (Community Room A) at 1245 West Newton Road, from 7 to 9 p.m.
Although there will be opportunity to bring up other issues, concerns, and questions, Herald plans to devote time to discussion of possible council actions related to single-use plastic bags. Herald hopes to give an overview of the issue, outline a very draft initial proposal, and obtain citizen input to help in its refinement.
This citizen input will be valuable in preparation for the Community Improvement Committee’s third public hearing on the matter scheduled for April 1 at 6 p.m. in the City Building’s Council Chambers.
Herald started quarterly meetings during his previous time on City Council and has held them each quarter of his nine years on City Council; including each quarter since his return to council.
