The Easter Bunny will be here from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. for a visit.

Rasmusson will have a selection of handmade gifts for the spring season. Items will include her Paper Delights, as well as her new line of engraved bamboo kitchen utensils and cutting boards.

Additionally at Beeker’s, Mike Soboleski of SoBee Honey will be in-store with his local, raw honey, whipped honey and beeswax candles. Also, Country Grains Bread will have an assortment of their best preservative-free loaves for sale. Other fan favorites include plenty of Easter chocolates and Poppin’ George’s Kettle Corn.

As part of the day’s festivities, we are offering “Painting with the Peeps” classes. Local artisan, Rebecca Booth will be guiding youth through the creative process of recreating one of three iconic “Peeps” candy images. The class is by reservation only and is being offered at 9 a.m., 10:15 a.m., and 11:30 a.m.

Visit beekersgeneralstore.com to view the “Peeps” images and call 419-287-3274 to make a reservation. No previous painting experience is required and all instruction and supplies will be provided, along with cookies.

A Scholastic Book Fair will be taking place in the Henline Building (next door to Beeker’s General Store.) Riverbank Antique Market is joining in the Easter fun with an adult egg hunt in-store. Find an egg and receive a discount on a purchase.

Stick around for the village Easter Egg Hunt at 1 p.m. Check-in at Memorial Park, Pemberville (next to the American Legion.) Children, pre-school age – sixth grade, are welcome to take part in the hunt.
