Brad Gilbert, Emergency Management Agency director for Wood County, has issued the following advisory:
A very strong storm system will move across the Great Lakes this Tuesday and Tuesday night. The storm system alone will bring prolonged times of very gusty winds ahead of and behind a cold front. In addition, ingredients may be possible for strong to even severe thunderstorms to develop ahead of this strong cold front as it will warm (into the 60s) on Tuesday. Although it is early for details yet, I just wanted you to be aware of the potential for wind and possibly strong storm issues on Tuesday. We will be monitoring the situation and we will provide an update on Monday.
