The Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department invites the community to participate in the holiday nature crafts program. Celebrate the joy of the holiday season by joining at the Wintergarden/St. John’s Nature Preserve on Saturday, Dec. 7, for a day of creative, nature-inspired crafting.
There will be two sessions to choose from – the first from 9 to 10:30 a.m., and the second from 10:30 a.m. to noon.
This festive event offers an array of activities that cater to both preschool and elementary-age children ranging from 3 to 11 years old. Participants will be able to craft five projects that can be used to adorn their homes for the holiday season or given as gifts to loved ones.
In addition to the crafting stations, this program will provide an opportunity to toast treats over an open fire.
For those interested in attending, the program is free, but registration is required. Bowling Green residents may register starting Friday, Nov. 15, while non-residents can begin their registration on Friday, Nov. 22.
