Electricity was out across the entire city of Bowling Green this afternoon, as the result of a First Energy transmission line problem west of the city, according to Assistant Municipal Administrator Joe Fawcett.
The power went out around 3:15 and returned around 4:08 p.m.
Approximately 12,000 electric customers inside and outside the city of Bowling Green were affected, Fawcett said.
