Ilene E. Roberts, age 89, of Perrysburg, OH, passed away on Monday morning, April 10, 2017 at her residence. She was born on June 21, 1927 in Toledo, OH to Karl and Estella (Shanteau) Lerche. Ilene married Richard Roberts on April 11, 1947 in Stony Ridge, OH and he preceded her on March 27, 1997. She was a homemaker and her memberships included: Stony Ridge United Methodist Church, attended Walbridge Senior Citizens and had been a past member of the Pemberville Lions Club. Ilene truly enjoyedbeing with family, seeing new things and loved to travel.
Ilene is survived by her son: Jeffrey (Rebecca) Roberts of Bowling Green, daughter-in-law: Linda Roberts of Pemberville, 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and companion: William St. Claire of Walbridge. She was preceded in death by her husband: Richard, sons: Curtis and Marvin, great grandchild: Austin and sister: Lois Spoores.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Marsh Funeral Home, 110 Main Street, Luckey, OH. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 11 AM from Stony Ridge United Methodist Church, 5542 Fremont Pike, Stony Ridge, OH 43463 where there will be additional visitation conducted from 10 – 11 AM. Officiating will be Rev. Robert May. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Perrysburg, OH. A bereavement luncheon will served immediately following the cemetery committal services at the church. Consideration for memorial contributions can be made to: Stony Ridge Methodist Church or the Walbridge Senior Center.
