The Bowling Green Exchange Club and Bowling Green High School have announced that Isabella Espinosa is the October 2022 Student of the Month. Isabella is a senior at Bowling Green High School and will graduate on May 28, 2023. She is the daughter of Angel and Laura Espinosa.
Isabella’s school honors and activities include membership in the National Honors Society and the Spanish National Honors Society. She has received the Ohio Seal of Biliteracy for high levels of proficiency in English and Spanish. Isabella has been a member of the varsity swim team for four years and a junior class officer. Isabella has been awarded the Woody Herman Jazz Award which recognizes an outstanding jazz student.
Outside of school, Isabella is a server at Stone Ridge and is also a lifeguard at the Bowling Green City Pool. She has volunteered at the Wood County Public Library and the Bowling Green Community Center as a scorekeeper.
Isabella currently has a 4.35 GPA and has taken numerous AP courses at the high school. After high school, Isabella plans to attend Notre Dame or Case Western to study biochemistry with a pre-med focus.
