Two more unlocked cars were entered in Bowling Green – but this time some of the stolen items were returned.
On Wednesday, Bowling Green Police Division responded to two locations in the 1000 block of Fairview Avenue for reports of items stolen from vehicles.
In one case, the resident reported her wallet was stolen. She later received a call from Mecca Management that items from inside the wallet were found in the night drop box. The only items not put in the drop box were her Social Security card and a gift card for the Children’s Place. There is no video by the drop box.
In the other case, the resident reported that her checkbook and her Xanax prescription bottle were stolen. She reported that when she walked out of her apartment this morning, her checkbook was outside the door. The bottle of Xanax was not returned.
