Jacqueline Rose (Snyder) Monroe , 89, of Whitehouse, Ohio died October 28, 2016 at the Heartland of Waterville. She was born on July 22, 1927 to Theodore and Sophronia (Pollock) Snyder in Toledo. She was married to Richard Monroe and he preceded her in death in 2006. Jacqueline was a graduate of Bowling Green State University where she studied teaching.
Jacqueline came to Waterville, Ohio in 1948 to teach first grade at the Waterville School. She loved the village of Waterville. As a young woman she enjoyed gardening, antiques decorating her home with pretty things. She was a devoted mother to her children Richard, Terri, and Molly. Her faith in God supported her through out her life. Her devotion to God was a model for all that knew her. Her kindness and generosity lives on through the lives that she touched.
Jacqueline is survived by her sister Beverly (Snyder) Pyle and her children Richard B. Monroe and Molly (Monroe) Krise, her grandchildren Burt, Molly, Jeffery, Malcolm, and Jacob and her great – grandchildren Lucas, Chandler, Cooper and Maddox. She preceded in death by her husband, her daughter Terri, and her parents.
Friends and Family are invited to a visitation on Tuesday November 1 from 10am to 12 noon at the Peinert Dunn Funeral Home, 7220 Dutch Rd., Waterville Ohio. Funeral services will follow at 12 noon. Burial will follow the services at Wakeman Cemetery in Waterville, Ohio.
