James “Jim” Anderson, 72, of Weston, Ohio passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019. Jim was born on October 18, 1946 to the late Kenneth E. and Donna (Fisher) Anderson. He married Sharon Thurman on April 18, 1966 in Monroe, MI and she survives him in Weston.
Along with his wife, Jim is survived by his daughter: Jennifer Sue Anderson of Bowling Green; son: Todd (Amanda Pauff) Anderson of Weston; grandchildren: Brayden & Neaveh; sisters: Judy Strayer & Sandy Price; and brother: Gary Anderson. Jim was preceded in death by his brother Kenneth R. Anderson.
Jim served our country in the US Army and later owned BG Collison. He was member of the American Legion post #409. He would work for hours on end on his yard, making sure it was perfect. He enjoyed camping, playing horseshoes, mushroom hunting, and rooting for The Ohio State Buckeyes. The family asks that everyone attending the funeral service this Friday to wear their Ohio State apparel.
Visitation for Jim will be held on Thursday January 3, 2019 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at Loomis-Hanneman Funeral Home. 20375 E. Taylor Street. Weston, Ohio. 43569. A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019 at 11:00 AM at the Loomis-Hanneman Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow at the Weston Cemetery.
