Jane Louise McKee, 69, of Waxhaw, North Carolina and formerly of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away Saturday December 22, 2018. She was born April 12, 1949 in Bowling Green to Donald and Marian (Wollam) Shull. She married J. Douglas McKee and he preceded her in death in 1991.
Jane worked as a librarian for Bowling Green High School for many years before her retirement in 1993. She was a former member of the Church of the Nazarene, local Order of the Eastern Star and Daughters of the American Revolution. She was also a former member of the Bowling Green Curling Club, the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and an avid supporter of the Bowling Green Montessori School.
She is survived by her daughter Tracy J. Brown of Waxhaw, North Carolina, son-in law Jamahl A. Brown of Waxhaw, North Carolina, brother Donald J. Shull (Mary) of Coos Bay, Oregon, sister Kathryn E. Shull of Bowling Green, Ohio and grandchildren Sydney E. Brown and J. Anthony Brown both of Waxhaw, North Carolina.
Her funeral service will be held Saturday December 29, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster St. Pastor Scott Estep will officiate. Interment will follow at Portage Cemetery. Visitation will be held Saturday morning at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 10:30 a.m.
