Jane M Cook

Jane Marie Cook, 82, passed away peacefully Sunday April 23rd 2017 at Genesis Swanton Valley Center. Jane was born in Weston Ohio on July 16th 1934 to the late Clarence Mizer and Kathleen (Canterbury) Jeffers. She was married to the late Glenn A.Cook on April 16th 1952.

Jane is survived by her son William (Mary) Cook, and her two daughters, Marilyn (Vern) Bybee and Janilyn Kern. Jane is also survived by 11 grandchildren: Ryan (Sunday) Foulds, James (Meredith) Foulds, Katie (James) Miller, Aaron Blomquist, Jeff and Scott Cook, Jessica (Justin) Aeschliman, Justin Biddle, Emily (Josh) Kern, Madison (Anthony) Kern, and Riely Kern; great-grandchildren, Aiden Foulds, Ellie and Michael Miller, Kaden, Leland, and Addison Cook, Case Cook, Payton and Maisie Otte, and Wyatt and Violette Dibling. Also surviving are her sisters Ruby (Bill) Priest, Linda (Bob) Tinnell, and her brother Nick (Carol) Jeffers.

Jane was preceded in death by her infant son, Michael, brother, Ted Mizer, sister, Joeann (Joe) Rectenwald, and “adopted sister,” Bev Haas.

Jane babysat for many years, and later worked as a teacher’s aide at Children’s Resource Center until she retired. She enjoyed doing many crafts and she was known for her delicious cookies! She was a loving and caring person and a good friend. She was dearly loved by all who had the pleasure of knowing her!

Visitation will be held on Thursday April 27, 2017 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster St. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Wood County Memory Gardens.
