John M. Corby, long time resident of Logan, Ohio passed away on December 21, 2018 in Bowling Green, Ohio after a very brief illness. John was born June 9, 1929 in Corning, Ohio to Michael and Adeline Corby and graduated from Carbon Hill High School.
He had a strong work ethic his entire life and worked at Smead Manufacturing prior to retirement. His greatest joy was his family. He loved his wife’s home cooked meals and was especially proud of his children and grandchildren and their accomplishments.
He was married for 65 years to Betty (Palmer) Corby and she survives in Bowling Green. Also surviving are two sisters, daughter, Kathy (Tom) Holloway, and two grandchildren, Amanda Holloway-Verrill (Doug Verrill), and Joshua Holloway.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, a brother and his son John G. Corby.
There will be no visitation and burial will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home in Bowling Green.
