Joyce Ann Engle passed away on September 26, 2023. She resided for many years on South Grove Street, Bowling Green, Ohio.
Joyce was born on July 29, 1934 in Bowling Green to Dale M. and Marium Ruth (Tyner) Heyman. Her mother died when she was 10 months old so she was raised for her early years by her grandparents in Weston, Ohio. She moved back to Bowling Green in 1939 and attended Bowling Green schools graduating in 1952. She married Richard Engle and they divorced in 1962. She was employed by Bee Gee Block and Lumber Co. for 37 years and Schwind Electric for 19 years as a bookkeeper.
Joyce is survived by children, Bonnie Long, Terri Strow and Rick (Kelly) Engle; grandchildren Craig Strow, Angie, Erica, Tanner (Cara) and Chase Engle; great granddaughters Braelyn Smith and Harper Engle; great grandson Henry Engle; half-sister Ann (Vern) Weaver and special daughter-in-law Sandy Engle. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Norman (Joyce) Heyman; sister Betty (Joe) Sarver and special great grandson Gavin Engle.
There will be no visitation or service per Joyce’s request. Arrangements are being handled by Coyle Funeral Home in Toledo.
