June E. Launder, 75, of Bowling Green passed away Thursday August 31, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
June was born in Deshler, Ohio to the late Stanley and Bertha (Baer) Engle. She married the love of her life David Launder on July 16, 1960 in the Trinity United Methodist Church in Bowling Green and he preceded her in death on July 1, 2015. June is survived by her children: Sandy (Toby) Snow of Portage, Ohio, Kim (Adam) Wynar of Fostoria, Ohio, David (Holly) Launder of Mecosta, Michigan and Dannie Launder of Toledo; grandchildren: Bradley (Melody), Jennifer (Scott), Morgan, Samuel, Andy (Nicole), Brittney, Ashley, Travis (Taylor), Katie and Sara (Derek); 13 great-grandchildren and sisters: Shirley Cron of Bowling Green and Jane Sloan of Weston.
June was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, where she volunteered by working the gates at the Wood County Fair. She was also a member of the Eagles #2180 where she assisted with funeral dinners and the VFW Auxiliary # 1148. June enjoyed crocheting, going to garage sales and listening to country music. Whenever you would go into June’s house, you could hear Willy’s Roadhouse station or old country music. Family was the most important part of June’s life. She cherished the time she spent with them and enjoyed the trips she took with them.
Visitation for June will be on Tuesday September 5, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 PM in the Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home & Crematory, 1460 W. Wooster St., P.O Box 648, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. June’s funeral service will be on Wednesday September 6, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Wood County Memory Gardens.
