Kelly Elizabeth Wallace, 33, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 1, 2019 at Riley’s Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana after a warrior like struggle against serious lung complications.
Kelly was born June 14, 1985 in Bowling Green, Ohio and was a graduate of Bowling Green High School in 2004. She was a member of the National Honor Society, played the violin for three years in orchestra and acted as the historian and in her senior year in Madrigals, a high school choral group. She enjoyed singing in churches, around the house and other venues throughout her life.
She graduated from Bowling Green State University in 2008 with a major in journalism.
She moved to Muncie, Indiana after graduation to work for the Star Press as a reporter and photographer. She then moved to the Indianapolis area and worked for Applied Composites Engineering doing marketing and sales. She most recently did freelance writing for Visit Hendricks County and Carmel Magazine.
Kelly enjoyed singing, concerts, travelling, playing with her kids, and photography.
She leaves behind her beloved husband Todd of seven years and their two children Claire (3) and Samuel (1). She is survived by her parents Frank and Pam Day of Bowling Green, Ohio, brother Benjamin Day (Michele Day) of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. Also surviving are her father and mother-in-law Rick and Lani Wallace of Muncie, Indiana, brother-in-law Andy Wallace (Kristy Wallace), sister-in-law Kinsey West (Jeremy West), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were Thursday, March 7, 2019, at Hope City Church, 1017 West Main Street, Carmel.
