Kenneth William Meece, age 50, of Pemberville, OH, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at his residence. He was born on December 12, 1966 in Toledo, OH to Darrell and Pamela (Jacobs) Meece. A graduate of Eastwood High School, Ken received his vocational training at Penta Career Center. On October 22, 1988 he married Jennifer R. Linke in Luckey, OH. Together they raised one son, Austin.
Ken was an auto body collision repair technician/painter, working most recently at Bowling Green Collision Center. Ken was known as a caring individual always doing for others. He made friends wherever he went, a great guy to sit and have a beer with. He enjoyed camping, being with his family and friends, and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys.
Ken is survived by his wife of 29 years Jennifer, son: Austin Meece of Pemberville, OH, mother: Pam Crofts of Bowling Green, OH, father: Darrell (Carol) Meece of MI, sister: Shawn (Lance) Bryant of Parma, OH, brother: Eric (Amy) Crofts of Walbridge, OH, step-sisters: Christine Morningstar of MI, Melinda (Jason) Morningstar-Ruffier of MI, Denise Morningstar of Maumee, OH and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his dad Mike Crofts and his grandparents.
Family and friends will be received on Friday, October 27, 2017 from 2-5 PM at the Marsh Funeral Home, 4094 State Route 105, Pemberville, OH with funeral services beginning at 5:00 PM. Officiating will be Pastor Steve Korn. A fellowship meal will be held at Emmanuel Free Will Baptist Church, 4560 Gilbert Road in Luckey immediately following funeral services.
