Ladies’ Night Out: Cheers to you and your health

Submitted by Wood County Hospital

Wood County Hospital will again offer a night with friends that includes education, prevention and early detection of many common diseases for women. The event, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 29, is free and focused on the importance of paying attention to women’s health and its priority in today’s busy lives.

Highlighting many important aspects of women’s health that are easily overlooked, the event will offer wine, appetizers, screenings, tours and giveaways. There will be tables with important information, places to speak with providers, and information and facts on trending topics. Dr. Purvi R. Saraiya, from Wood County Neurology, will share information on headaches and migraines.

Each attendee will have a chance to enter to win a float spa gift card, and a swag bag of goodies will be available while supplies last. The event will be in the Wood County Hospital surgery waiting area and is free, but registration is requested and is done by visiting woodcountyhospital.org/ladiesnightout.

It’s the perfect event to gather your girlfriends and enjoy a fun night learning more about women’s health, prevention and treatments available at Wood County Hospital.
