License plate left at scene leads to arrest of driver after hit-skip accident

On March 13, at approximately 6:18 p.m.,  the Bowling Green Police Division responded to the area of South College and Napoleon roads for a hit-skip accident. 

The vehicle that left the scene was described as a silver vehicle. Officers arrived on scene and discovered that one of the suspect’s vehicle plates was left at the scene during the crash.  Officers were able to locate the suspect vehicle and speak with the driver, Jeremy Bravo. 

While speaking with Bravo, officers discovered that he had been consuming alcohol.  Bravo was taken into custody and brought to the police division.  During the investigation officers also discovered drug paraphernalia inside Bravo’s vehicle. 

Bravo was arrested for failure to yield right of way from a stop sign, for not stopping after an accident to exchange information, operating a vehicle under the influence and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was lodged in the Wood County Justice Center.
