Lucille “Luci” Hart-Butler, 77, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away March 14, 2023. She was born December 6, 1945 in Bowling Green to the late Emery and Dorothy (Copus) Williams. She married Daniel Butler on April 11, 1992 and he survives in Bowling Green.
Luci worked as the store room manager at GTE/ Verizon phone company for 30 years before she retired. She soon found out that she was still full of energy and became a realtor for AA Green Realty in Bowling Green where she worked for 10 years. She was a Bobcat Booster and CASA Rep. She had a green thumb and loved tending to her flower gardens. She found great joy in her children and her grandchildren whom she adored. She loved sports with a passion. Especially football. She loved cooking and the holidays where she could entertain the whole family. Having as much of her family all together was her greatest joy.
Along with Dan her husband of 30 years, Luci is survived by her children Shane (Rita) Hart of Dublin, Ohio, Steve (Becky) Hart of Toledo, Ohio, and Sheri (Hart) Richardson of Bowling Green, OH, as well as Dan’s children, Shawn (Nichole) Butler of Boulder, Colorado, Heather (Jeff) Douglas of Bowling Green OH, and Brandon (Audrey) Butler of Bowling Green OH. Her brother Leroy (Bonnie) Williams, 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Michelle “Shelly” Hart and sister Elaine Lyons.
Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday March 21, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster St. Rev. David Boswell will officiate. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Bowling Green. Visitation will be held Tuesday morning at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 p.m.
