Mrs. Lucy E. Caufman, 99 years old and longtime resident of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away May 19, 2016. She was the wife of the late Harry W. Caufman, who was controller of the H.J. Heinz Company when they operated in Bowling Green, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. F. Russell Smith, peters Township, Franklin County, Pennsylvania and was the last of her family. Also preceding her in death was a son Richard E. Caufman of Toledo, Ohio and a daughter in law Rita Caufman of Perrysburg, Ohio. Lucy was a member of the First Presbyterian Church for over 50 years, Chapter #159 Order of Eastern Star, Hospital Guild, Senior Citizens and AARP. Surviving is a son, Marvin W. Caufman (Judy) of Clearwater, Florida. Other survivors include four grandsons: Thomas (Pat) of St. Petersburg, Florida, Michael (Michelle) of Perrysburg, Ohio, Trevor (Tara) of Clearwater, Florida and Todd (Kim) of Oxford, Michigan. Survivors also include a daughter in law Barbara Caufman Norris. of Brevard, North Carolina, several great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. A graveside burial service will be held at the St. Thomas Pennsylvania Cemetery at a date to be determined. Dunn Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
