One person died after a two-vehicle crash involving an ATV plowing snow today around 8:20 a.m.
The Wood County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the crash that occurred in the 23000 block of Bradner Road in Troy Township.
The crash involved a northbound BMW and an ATV which was plowing snow in the area. The investigation showed that the ATV failed to yield the right-of-way to the BMW, according to the sheriff’s office.
The operator of the ATV, Edwardo Torres II, 48, was pronounced dead at the scene. The operator of the car, Jason Minarik, 47, was not injured.
Assisting on the location was Troy Township Fire and EMS, and Shane’s Towing Services of Northwood.
The incident is still under investigation.
