Marilyn F. Gottschalk, 86, of Pemberville, Ohio passed way Wednesday October 16, 2019. She was born November 22, 1932 in Dunbridge, Ohio to the late Arthur and Florence (Place) Hale.
Marilyn was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church in Bowling Green, was a life member of the American Legion in Luckey and a member of Alpha Delta Master chapter of Beta Sigma Phi. She played the organ at Webster United Methodist Church for nearly 30 years. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family at her cottage on Lake Erie. Her greatest joy in life came from the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons Duane (Amy) Gottschalk of North Carolina, Jeffrey Gottschalk of Bowling Green and Roger (Tonette) Gottschalk of Tontogany, Ohio, grandchildren Michael (Connie), Anthony, Marvin, Kara, Kari, Corey, Samantha, Shelby and Julie and great-grandchildren Kayla, Sgt. Tyler Gottschalk (Alexi), Alyssa, Olivia, Shia, Jayden and Ivory.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Richard, Arthur and Bill.
Marilyn’s funeral service will be held Monday October 21, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster St. Father Tom McQuillen will officiate. Interment will follow at New Belleville Ridge Cemetery in Dowling, Ohio. Visitation will be held Monday at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions can be given in her memory to a charity of the donor’s choice.
