Marion Trettin, 92, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on May 25, 2023. She was born on January 22, 1931, to Lawrence and Ruth (Hoobler) Sutton.
Marion was a 1946 graduate of Otsego high school. She worked as a supervisor for Bowling Green State University for over 30 years. Marion was known for her selflessness, she loved and cared for everyone around her. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. She made the best homemade apple pie with a crust that no one can recreate.
Marion is survived by her beloved daughter Kim (James) McArthur of Toledo, Ohio, sister Carole Gutierrez of Spring Texas, grandchildren Jessica (Stephen) Nowak, Michael McArthur, great-grandchildren Lochlan Nowak, Ian McArthur and Colin McArthur.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Alice Hummel
Marion’s graveside service will be held at Union Hill Cemetery on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Steve Bauerle will be officiating. Funeral Arrangements are entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 W Wooster St.
