Marvin H Rife

Marvin H. Rife, 86, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away on Friday, July 19, 2019. Marvin was born on January 27, 1933 in Dunbridge, Ohio. 

Marvin was a member of Plain Church in Bowling Green, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army, avid bowler & card player, loved spending time with family, loved animals, gardening and sharing the Gospel. 

Marvin worked for Ford Maumee Stamping retiring in 1995.

Survivors include; his wife, Shirley (Mazey) of Bowling Green, children, Steven (Nancy) of Pemberville, Randy (Lori) of Bowling Green, Benny Rife of Columbus, Connie (Steve) Queen of Grand Rapids, Ohio, Marcia (James) Noon of Bowling Green, brother, John Hatcher of Cygnet, sisters, Jeri Garber of Bowling Green, Lola Wilson of North Baltimore, 10 grandchildren and 13 Great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Brian and half-brothers, Bill, Franklin, Robert & James Graham.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 11:00 am at Plain Church 16011 W. Poe Rd. Bowling Green, Ohio. Rev. Martin Braemer will officiate. Military honors will be rendered by the Wood County Honor Detail at Union Hill Cemetery following the funeral service at the church.

Public visitation will be held Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the Dunn Funeral Home, located in Bowling Green’s Historical District at 408 W. Wooster St. Additional visitation will be held Wednesday at the church from 10:00 am until the service time.
