Mary Rebecca (Wyatt) Organ, of Bowling Green, OH passed away on August 30, 2024, at the age of 94 from a broken heart after the recent passing of her husband.
Becky was born on January 18, 1930 in Findlay OH, to the late Mathew M. and Mary L. (Saunders) Wyatt. She married the love of her life, Charles M. Organ, on July 5, 1947, at the First Methodist Church in Greenup, KY. They started and raised their family in Bowling Green and together, they shared an incredible 77 years of marriage. She is credited with running the household, raising 3 children and helping her husband build his business.
Becky was a member of the First Presbyterian Church for 66 years. She was an active member of the Greenwood Chapter of The Order of the Eastern Stars. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, dancing, playing cards, traveling and especially enjoyed visiting Disney World. Becky also loved summering at Big Star Lake, MI and wintering in Haines City, FL.
Known for her kindness, and generous spirit, Becky touched the lives of all who knew her. She was deeply loved by her husband Chuck; her sons Don (Chanie) Organ and Chuck (Cathy) Organ, her daughter Kathleen (Keith) Stilwell; 10 grandchildren; and numerous great and great great-grandchildren.
The memorial gathering to celebrate Becky’s remarkable life will be held on September 20, 2024 from 12:00pm until the time of her Celebration of Life service at 1:00 pm at Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home, 1460 W. Wooster Street, Bowling Green, OH 43402. A graveside service for both Becky and Chuck will be held immediately following the celebration of life at Wood County Memory Gardens.
Becky was preceded in death by her husband Chuck, her parents Mathew and Mary L. Wyatt; her parents-in-law Donald G. and Ruth K. Organ; a great granddaughter; her brother Ralph Wyatt, sister-in-law Marrietta Wyatt, her sister Jessie Sgalato and brother-in-law Joseph Sgalato. She was also preceded in death by her lifelong friend Jeanne Busch who she considered a sister.
Contributions in Becky’s honor may be gifted to Bridge Hospice or an organization of the donor’s choice.
