MaryLou VanDervort, 84, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away July 1, 2020 in Bowling Green, Ohio after living in Baneberry Tennessee and Ellenton Florida for many years.
MaryLou was born in Hilliard, Pennsylvania to Dizz and Jo Gaiser on September 13, 1935. She went to high school in Orwell, Ohio graduating in 1953. She worked for many years in the foodservice industry, while also raising her family.
She was active in supporting the Elks Club in Palmetto, Florida. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as travel, bowling, golf, games of skill, and going to the beach.
MaryLou was preceded in death by her parents, Dizz and Jo, her sister Sally Schultz, and her son Kevin VanDervort. She is survived by her husband, Clifford VanDervort, her son Michael, daughters Patricia (Dennis) Gualdoni, and Kelly VanDervort along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by all.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Final interment will take place in Bellevue, Ohio. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home in Bowling Green.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
