Melissa Jane Zemanski, age 59, of Bowling Green, OH passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at Toledo Hospital. She was born on September 9, 1958 in Findlay, OH to Thomas E. And Virginia M. (Beach) Christoff. Following graduation and later college she would work as a florist early in life. She would later marry and have two children working as a homemaker. Melissa enjoyed flower gardening, cooking and the outdoors, waiting hours for the passing deer. Most of all she enjoyed the company and the love of her daughter Cortney.
Melissa is survived by her daughter: Cortney Zemanski of Perrysburg, parents: Thomas and Virginia Christoff of Bowling Green, sisters: Shelly Christoff of Bowling Green, Emily (Dave) Flowers of Virginia, brother: Stephen Christoff of Virginia, Tony (Sandi) Christoff of Perrysburg and numerous nieces and nephews. Melissa was preceded in death by her son: Brandon Zemanski, sister: Beth Ann Schetter and brother: Jeffrey T. Christoff.
Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at the Marsh Funeral Home, 110 Main Street, Luckey, OH where funeral services will be conducted at 12 p.m. Officiating will be Deacon Thomas Wray. Interment will be in Ft. Meigs Union Cemetery, Perrysburg, OH. Memorial contributions may take the form of contributions to the: Wood County Humane Society c/o hurricane relief.
