Michael L. Serrato, 41, of Bowling Green, OH, died January 28, 2018 at his home. He was born June 15, 1976 in Bowling Green, OH to John and Violet (Wheeler) Serrato. Michael was a 1995 Otsego High School Graduate and he went on to graduate from Owens Community College.
Michael will always be remembered for his jokes, laughter and unique sense of humor. He loved watching sports and golfing with his brother and nephews. He loved the Lord with all his heart.
Michael worked as a machinist at IMCO Carbide in Perrysburg, OH. He was a member of Word of Truth Church in Bowling Green, OH.
He married Jessica (Hall) May 23, 2015. She survives along with his parents, John and Violet Serrato, brother, Johnny (Rachel) Serrato, sister, Holly (Kris) Serrato, and nephews and niece, Chaz, Naz, Wyatt, Kaleb, Leah and Asher. His grandparents, Howard and Sue Wheeler and Trinidad and Cande Serrato, preceded him in death.
Friends and family may visit Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Peinert-Dunn Funeral Home, 7220 Dutch Rd., Waterville, OH, from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Services will take place Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Evangelist Jim Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Grand Rapids, OH.
