The Cocoon will host its annual fundraiser, Mobile Dueling Pianos, at Stone Ridge Golf Club on Friday, Oct. 11, from 7 to 11 p.m.
This event provides an interactive evening of singing and dancing to a pair of dueling piano players while raising money to support survivors served by the Cocoon, Wood County’s only domestic and sexual violence agency.
Tickets include an array of hors d’oeuvres, with a cash bar and silent auction featuring a myriad of experiential items. Individual tickets are $35 (seating not reserved) and a limited number of reserved tables of eight are available for $350.
Reservations must be made in advance by calling 319-373-1730, ext. 1002.
The Cocoon serves more than 550 survivors and their families annually, with approximately 10% of those survivors utilizing the emergency shelter. The remaining survivors are working and living within our communities and receive 24/7 crisis support, medical and legal advocacy, economic empowerment, and much more.
With the support of organizations and individuals within the community, all services are provided to survivors throughout their lifespan at no cost to them.
Sponsorship support for this event is being provided by Catalyst Element Consulting, GEM Industrial Inc., Huntington National Bank, and Telamon Construction Inc. Additional support provided by Thayer Family Dealerships and Stone Ridge Golf Club.
