NAMI Wood County hosted its 14th Annual Dinner in a modified version this past Monday, April 19. This year, the organization hosted a Facebook and YouTube Live Stream event in the evening and recognized many important community partners including two award recipients – The Cocoon for the Community Impact Award and Unison Health’s Crisis Team for the Provider Appreciation Award.
Additionally, NAMI Wood County also showed appreciation to mental health agencies in the community by providing goodie baskets to the organizations including coupons from local bakeries and coffee shops. Those who contributed coupons for mental health providers included: Biggby Coffee, Call of the Canyon Café, Grounds for Thought, Jane’s Cakes and Confections, So Many Somethings, and Sterling’s Amish Deli.
