The Ohio Department of Transportation has reported on road construction projects that are affecting Wood County motorists. Here is a list of the current projects:
Lime City Road over Interstate 75, Rossford, is reduced to one lane controlled by a temporary traffic signal following a strike from an over-height load which damaged the bridge. Traffic will remain in this pattern for several months.

Westbound will be reduced to one lane during overnight hours. Eastbound left turn to the former Holiday Inn French Quarter center will be closed during phase 1. The detour will be eastbound Route 20 to Simmons Road to South Compass Drive, to westbound Route 20. Start date to be announced.
Ohio 18, between Bloomdale and Hancock County line, and in Bloomdale, will experience lane restrictions for resurfacing, performed under flagging operations in the work zone, through June. Lane restrictions will continue the week of June 12-16 for manhole adjustments, berming and striping.

Starting on Friday, June 9, Route 25 will be closed between Powell Road and the north corporation line of the Village of Portage. This will be a full closure, with traffic not passing in either direction. Traffic will be detoured to Route 6, I-75, or Route 235.
