The Bowling Green Parks & Recreation Department has announced the return of its Parents’ Night Out program during winter of 2024. Designed to provide parents with a break, the program offers an entertaining and supervised experience for children ages 5 to 12.
On select Friday nights in January, February and March, parents can drop off their kids at the Bowling Green Community Center from 5 to 9 p.m. The evenings are packed with activities, including games, arts and crafts, gym time, funny videos, and the Freedom Climber rotating climbing wall.
Registration is limited to the first 20 kids per session.
The scheduled dates for winter 2024 are as follows:
- Friday, Jan. 12
- Friday, Jan. 26
- Friday, Feb. 9
- Friday, Feb. 23
- Friday, March 8
- Friday, March 22
Parents are reminded to ensure their children have had dinner before the program, and they are welcome to send snacks if needed, as no food or snacks will be provided at the event. The cost is $12 per resident child and $15 per non-resident child per session.
Registration is now open at https://buff.ly/3HKAhaR, and given the past trend, interested parents are encouraged to secure their spots promptly. For inquiries or additional information, contact Ivan at 419-354-6223 or via email at ivan@bgohio.org.
