Patricia Ann Hiser

Patricia Ann (Parker) Hiser, age 79, of Pemberville, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 at Otterbein Senior Living in Pemberville. She was born on October 22, 1944 in Bowling Green, OH to Jay and Ethel (Rose) Parker. She was a graduate of Eastwood High School, and later received a Bachelor and Master Degree in Education from Bowling Green State University. Pat married Dale Hiser and spent more than 45 years blending their families and making memories.

Pat Began her career at Wood Lane schools in Bowling Green teaching children with special needs. She then went to Lucas County Board of Mental Retardation as a supervisor. Pat concluded her career at Ida Sue School in Wooster Ohio where she was the principal. Among her many memberships, two included Pemberville United Methodist Church and Animal Ready Nature Theatre. She enjoyed working with her horses, dogs and especially her cats. She also spent many hours reading, gardening and shopping. Pat had many joys; however, it was her family especially her son, grandchildren and great-grandchildren that always remained her greatest joy.

In addition to her husband Dale, Pat is survived by her son; Matt (Charlene) Phillips of Pemberville. Granddaughters: McKayla (Beau) Gannon of North Canton, and Megan (Greg) Recker of Bowling Green. Stepson; Chris (Kristal) Hiser of Pemberville, stepdaughter; Kim Mills of Woodville, step grandchildren: Alicia (Jeff) Pearce, Kristin Martin, John Mills and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jay and Ethel Parker.

Family and friends will be received 4-7 p.m., Sunday, June 16, 2024 at the Marsh & Marsteller Funeral Home, 4094 State Route 105, Pemberville, OH. A Funeral Service will be conducted 11 a.m., Monday, June 17, 2024 at Pemberville United Methodist Church, 205 Perry Street, Pemberville. There will be an additional time of visitation from 10 a.m., until time of service. Officiating will be, Pr. Leroy Sholey. Interment will be in Eisenhour Cemetery, Pemberville.
