Patricia Ann Myers

Patricia Ann Myers of Wayne, Ohio unexpectedly died in the loving arms of her husband to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, June 20, 2016 at the age of 74 years. Born in 1941 on December 31, she is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Raymond Myers. She is preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Stahl Kelly, and father, Robert Kelly and is survived by sister, Bonnie Blue. Patricia will long be remembered as being the most caring and loyal mother and best friend to her six daughters Brenda Majdalani (Joe), Rebecca Myers, Kelly Myers (Pablo Piquerez), Debra Fruth (Larry), Tricia Myers, and Melinda Keller. To her sixteen grandchildren she was the fun-loving “Nams” and her entire world revolved around them. Nams’ sense of humor and affectionate nature will never be forgotten by Tara Majdalani, Connor Majdalani, Trevor Majdalani, Patrick Myers-Santos, Lucas Myers-Santos, Lauren Myers-Santos, Gabrielle Fruth, Grace Fruth, Joseph Fruth, John Fruth, Emma Cavins, Brigid Cavins, Chloe Cavins, Sean Cavins, Mitchel Keller, and Sidney Keller. Known for her beauty, charm, and kindness, Patricia won the title of Miss Wood County in 1959. She was also a nationally-known majorette, winning a plethora of contests. To Patricia, children were her world. Over the years, she was known for being an amazing caregiver of many young children in Bloomdale, Ohio while raising her own six daughters. After her youngest grew older, Patricia took a position at Bowling Green State University as a caterer and then a custodian. As part of the custodial staff, Patricia not only took care of the dorm floor where she worked, but she also took care of the girls on the floor where students would often decorate her custodial area with praise and love for her kindness. Per Patricia’s request a celebration of her life for immediate family only will be held at Dunn Funeral Home on Saturday, June 25, 2016 with a private graveside service to follow at West Millgrove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent in her name to Dunn Funeral Home, 408 West Wooster St., Bowling Green, Ohio 43402 designated for the Elmwood Athletic Boosters or the Wood County Hospital Family Birthing Center.
