Patricia “Pattie” Sommerfeld, age 66, of Bowling Green, OH passed away Saturday, July 20, 2019 at the Toledo Hospital. She was born on October 3, 1952, in South Bend, IN to Richard and Barbara (Hunt) Chrysler. She married the love of her life, Mark Sommerfeld on December 28, 1985 in Howe, IN and they have celebrated nearly 34 years of marriage together. Pattie was in banking her entire career, and most recently worked for Huntington Bank as a Loan Analyst for 12 plus years before she retired. Her memberships included St. Thomas More Parish in Bowling Green, and she was a former member of the Order of The Eastern Star. Pattie took great pride in her lawn and was known for keeping it meticulous. She enjoyed gardening, crafts and scrap booking. Pattie loved her cats and often took in and fed the strays. She enjoyed her Monday morning “GABS” meetings (Girls at Breakfast) and was especially fond of her nieces and nephews, whom she loved very much.
In addition to her husband Mark, Pattie is survived by her mother: Barbara Foote of IN, brother: Michael (Krystal) Chrysler of GA, sister: Sandra (Fred) Mindach of IN, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father.
Family and friends will be received 9:30-10:30 a.m., Friday, July 26, 2019 at the Marsh & Marsteller Funeral Home, 4094 State Route 105, Pemberville, OH. A Funeral Service will begin at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with Fr. Jason Kahle, officiating. Committal will take place in the Webster Township Cemetery, Scotch Ride, Ohio.
