Paul “Dean” McKinney, 84, of Weston, Ohio went home to be with the Lord Saturday, August 20, 2022. He passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family.
He was born on April 17, 1938 at Cager Branch in Harold, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie and Mary (Kidd) McKinney. His brothers, Willard Moore and George McKinney and sister Rosemary Williamson.
He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Fronie, His daughter Nina (Steve) Doyle and his son Paul Douglas (Annette) Mckinney; (7) grandchildren: Mandy (Levi) Spurlock, Sara (Kevin) Hogan, Tyler (LeighAnn) Mckinney, Holly (Padraic) Smith, Jordan Paul Mckinney, Maria (Jon) Brassel, Rosie (Ben) Quaintance. (14) great-grandchildren: Wyatt Spurlock, Abby (Micah) Smith, Shelby Doyle, Paige and Peyton Mckinney, Addie, Asher, and Dean Smith, Faith, Chole, Brantley and Paisley Brassel, and Jasper and Magnolia Quaintance; and sister Gaynell Laboda.
Dean passionately loved: the Lord, his wife, his family, his friends, and his country. He was an active member of Christ’s Church in Bowling Green. He was a lifetime member of the NRA, and Erie County Conservation League. Dean was a new active member of Sundusky County Sportsman Club. He worked as Forman for Asbulundh Tree Service and retired in 2000 from Dixon Ticondargon. There will be much more of his life shared during his celebration of life service.
Visitation for Dean will be held on Wednesday, August, 24, 2022 from 2:00 pm until the time of his celebration of life service at 3:00 pm at Christ Church 14455 Campbell Hill Rd, Bowling Green, OH 43402. Burial will immediately follow at Weston Cemtery. Food and fellowship back at Christ’s Church after the graveside committal service.
