Paul R Strabley Jr

Paul R. Strabley, Jr., 76, of Bowling Green went home to be with his Lord on November 28, 2016 surrounded by his family.

Paul was born on September 14, 1940 in Toledo.  He worked for GM and retired after 40+ years of service.  He was a member of the Bowling Green Church of the Nazarene where he enjoyed playing on the church dartball team.  Paul was an avid Cleveland Indians fan and was thrilled when they went to the World Series this year even though they lost!  He was also an avid Cleveland Browns and Ohio State Buckeyes fan.  More than anything, Paul loved to be with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Some of his favorite times were spent at their lakehouse fishing, riding the pontoon boat, going on golf cart rides and playing games and cards with his family and friends.

Paul is survived by Carol, his wife of 53 years, his four children; Carrie (Rob) Harmon, Renee (Jim) Mattoni, Paul Strabley, and Sue (Tony) Parrinella, five grandchildren; Joshua, Justin and Jacob Mattoni, Katelyn (Garrett) Perry, and Kevin Harmon, and seven great grandchildren.  He is also survived by a sister; Nancy (Karl) Friesner, and a brother; Tom (Rita) Strabley.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother; Paul and Mary (Johnson) Strabley.

Visitation will be held Thursday, December 1, 2016 from 4-7 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster Street. Funeral Service will be on Friday, December 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bowling Green Church of the Nazarene, 1855 Gorrill Rd. Additional visitation will begin Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. at the church.

Memorials may be given to the Bowling Green Church of the Nazarene.
