The Wood County Democratic Party will be holding a peaceful protest Saturday, June 14, at 11 a.m., on the corner of Wooster and Main streets in downtown Bowling Green, as part of the national “No Kings Protest” movement.
This event is organized solely by the Wood County Democratic Party, in solidarity with the broader “No Kings Protest” effort. The purpose of the protest is “to stand against authoritarianism and reaffirm the commitment to democracy, the rule of law, and constitutional governance.”
This protest is part of a national day of action in response to recent events that have raised serious concerns about democratic norms and institutional checks on power.
