Fall has arrived along with Pemberville’s last Garden Party of the season.
On Tuesday, Sept. 27, from 5-8 p.m., vendors will line the downtown business district offering a variety of items including fresh produce, rustic and country handmade décor, and plants to decorate fall landscapes.
From 5-8 p.m., people can ride throughout the Pemberville community in a horse-drawn carriage. The cost is $35 for up to four adults. Call 419-287-3274 to secure a ride.
Lyle Diefenthaler will provide live music on acoustic guitar and vocals. Specializing in music from the 50s, 60s, and 70s, his performance will bring back memories from the good ‘ole days.
Country Farmhouse out of Wayne, will once again provide fresh entrees during the Garden Party. Preorders for a summer sandwich or a fresh garden salad may be placed in advance by calling 419-287-3274. Some of the options include Bacon Ranch Chicken Wrap, Turkey Club Croissant, Chop Salad, and Walnut Chicken Salad.
This month’s vendors include: Hutchison Family Farms – maple syrup, fresh milled flour, fresh produce, and herbs; Abke’s Pumpkins ‘n’ Such – mums, pumpkins and gourds; Stony Ridge United Methodist Church – handcrafted bowl holders and kitchen boas, homemade treats and edibles; Harold Leemaster – soap, lotion, creams, and herbal salves; North Branch Nursery – perennials and flowering shrubs; Cynthia Lohrbach – decorative garden totems; The Hot Pad Guy – woven hot pads; Ruth Hasselman – assorted knitted, crocheted, woven, and quilted items; Country Grains Breads; Poppin George’s Kettle Corn; Grandma Jean’s Handmade Soaps; Mrs. Miller’s Amish Jams & Jellies and homemade apple dumplings by Beeker’s; Country Cupboard Ohio – country crafts and décor; Riverbank Antiques – garden antiques and accessories; Belle Fleur – pumpkins, mums and more and Toft’s hand-dipped ice cream and novelties by Beeker’s Old-Fashioned Ice Cream.
Anyone interested in being one of the vendors can call 419-287-3274 for more information. Vendor spaces are approximately 10 square feet along Front Street in Downtown Pemberville. A small fee is required in advance to reserve space.
