She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren during their week’s stay at Grandma and Grandpa’s house for Bible School each year.

She loved working as an income tax preparer for many years and all the while making some lasting friendships. Later in life, Phyllis and Edwin enjoyed many travels throughout the United States.

Phyllis was a member of Hope Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday school and was an active member of the Elizabeth Circle. She received the Woman of Hope Award in 1996.

She is survived by her son, Ralph (Miriam) and daughter Linda (Ron) Joseph, both of Bowling Green, daughter Barbara (Wayne) Badenhop of Wauseon and daughter Beverly (Ken) Gerwin of Bradner. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren and two more on the way.
