Local families are invited to join a program on children’s mental health on Tuesday, Sept. 25. The program on what Wood County has to offer children and families will be held in the Bowling Green City Schools Performing Arts Center.
Resource tables will be set up from 6:30 to 7 p.m., and from 8 to 8:30 p.m. From 7 to 8 p.m. there will be a presentation on children’s mental health.
Topics to be covered include:
- What is mental health and mental illness.
- Signs of a mental health condition.
- Signs of suicide.
- Trauma and the brain.
- Treatment in Wood County.
- Resources in Wood County.
