Public meetings canceled – on new senior center and special school board session

New senior center proposal

Public meetings are also being canceled in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Bowling Green Board of Education had planned a meeting on Monday to discuss plans for handling the coronavirus. But after the governor’s order last week that all K-12 schools close, the planning is well underway.

Also canceling a public meeting is the Wood County Committee on Aging, which had planned a meeting for neighbors of the new senior center site in Bowling Green.

Mosser Construction, the contractor for the project is developing a project schedule and other information that may be of interest to neighbors. Once that is finalized, the information will be mailed to those in the immediate neighborhood of the project.

Others may contact the Wood County Committee on Aging office at 419-353-5661 to have the information mailed out to them.
