Randy Harold Miller, 62, of Portage, Ohio passed away Tuesday June 6, 2017. He was born February 8, 1955 in Bowling Green, Ohio to Harold and Eileen (Giesler) Miller.
Randy was a 1977 graduate of The Ohio State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Agricultural Economics. While attending Ohio State he was active in the Campus Crusade for Christ. Randy was a lifelong farmer, member of the Bowling Green Alliance Church, Wood County Farm Bureau and former member of Grain Acres.
He enjoyed traveling, photography, keeping in touch with his friends and family through social media and also keeping up with local events by reading the Sentinel Tribune daily. Randy had a wonderful sense of humor. His greatest joy in life came from time he spent with his sons and grandchildren.
He is survived by his sons Ryan (Kate) Miller of Portage, Ohio and Christopher (Jennifer) Miller of Columbus, Ohio, sister Susan (Larry) Ragan of Youngsville, North Carolina, aunt Esther Metzger of Bowling Green, Ohio and his five grandchildren 5-year-old Phoenix, 4-year-old Nash, 2-year-old Knox, 6-year-old Hayley and 4-year-old Kinzie.
Visitation will be held on Monday June 12, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Dunn Funeral Home, located in the Historical District of Bowling Green at 408 West Wooster Street. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday June 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bowling Green Alliance Church, 1161 Napoleon Road. Pastor Dennis Gugger and Rev. John Randall will officiate. Interment will follow at Wingston Cemetery in Rudolph, Ohio. Additional visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday morning at the church.
